Nursing

Registered Nurses deliver care in our clients' homes, in clinics and through our telehealth service, PlunketLine. As a nursing-led organisation you can continue to grow your career in a number of ways.

Health Workers

In addition to our community nurses, our Community Karitane (Health Workers) and Kaiāwhina provide important care and support to whānau around Aotearoa New Zealand.

Community Services

Our community services help whānau build their village through our parent groups or antenatal classes. They provide supplementary support to our clinical teams to support holistic whānau wellness, and support stronger community bonds. Learn more about our Community Services roles below.

Head Office/Corporate Roles

If you are looking to use your skills to have a direct impact on future generations and help to shape our service, you can consider one of our corporate support roles including Communications and IT professionals, Finance and Human Resources specialists and many others—all working together to ensure we have what we need to support whānau across Aotearoa.

Our Head office teams include:

  • People and Culture
  • Pou Whakarae (Māori Chief Advisor)
  • Chief Nurse and Clinical Quality
  • Finance, Technology and Commercial

Administrators

Our Administrators have the privilege of being the first introduction that many whānau have to Plunket, calling them to congratulate them on their new addition and book them in with our services. They also assist whanau to reschedule the appointments and do critical data entry.

As a key point of contact for both whānau and clinical staff, having a strong customer service background and a warm and professional phone manner is key.
