Our amazing partner, HUGGIES®, kicked off their 2024 Dunk it for Plunket fundraising at the Kimberly-Clark (KCNZ) Auckland offices on July 24, effectively leading the way for other Dunkers.

HUGGIES® and Plunket enjoy a strong relationship of over 30 years. But while this shared focus on the health & wellbeing of tamariki sits at the core of our partnership and has resulted in nappy banks and other meaningful ways of supporting whānau together, their Dunk it for Plunket efforts are thanks to marketing and power-Mum duo, Anna Tauvao and Tarryn Louw.

Their colleagues were able to donate during the morning tea event over a cuppa and bickie. But Anna & Tarryn also introduced another clever way of fundraising: asking for koha for obsolete nappy stock. Staff made a donations to KCNZ’s Dunk it for Plunket fundraising page, then shared the nappies with friends and whānau.

Tarryn, Brand Manager, returned to work last year after enjoying maternity leave with her daughter, now nearly 24 months old. She says the care and consideration they both received from their Plunket nurse was incredibly helpful.

Meanwhile, Anna’s connection with Plunket spans nearly 15 years!

Says Anna, Senior Brand Manager, “I was lucky enough to have all four of my Plunket babies visit the office [during the event], and with their respective Plunket Well Child books too!”

We’re proud of the Plunket kaimahi (staff) that supported Anna and Tarryn on their journeys as parents, and are so grateful for their Dunk it for Plunket support in return.
